Am Wochenende

Es ist Samstag. Das Wetter ist schön. Die Sonne scheint.

It's Saturday. The weather is nice. The sun is shining.

Anna steht um neun Uhr auf. Das ist spät! Normalerweise steht sie um sieben Uhr auf.

Anna gets up at nine o'clock. That's late! Normally she gets up at seven o'clock.

Heute hat sie frei. Sie frühstückt gemütlich. Sie trinkt Kaffee und isst ein Brötchen mit Käse.

Today she has the day off. She has a leisurely breakfast. She drinks coffee and eats a bread roll with cheese.

Um elf Uhr geht Anna einkaufen. Sie geht zum Markt. Dort kauft sie Obst, Gemüse und Brot.

At eleven o'clock Anna goes shopping. She goes to the market. There she buys fruit, vegetables and bread.

Am Nachmittag besucht Anna ihre Eltern. Ihre Mutter kocht Mittagessen. Es gibt Kartoffeln, Salat und Fleisch. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut!

In the afternoon Anna visits her parents. Her mother cooks lunch. There are potatoes, salad and meat. The food tastes very good!

Nach dem Essen trinken sie Kaffee und essen Kuchen. Sie sprechen über die Woche.

After eating they drink coffee and eat cake. They talk about the week.

Am Abend geht Anna mit Freunden ins Kino. Der Film ist interessant und lustig.

In the evening Anna goes to the cinema with friends. The film is interesting and funny.

Um elf Uhr ist Anna wieder zu Hause. Sie ist müde, aber glücklich.

At eleven o'clock Anna is back home. She is tired, but happy.

"Was für ein schöner Tag!" denkt Anna.

"What a beautiful day!" thinks Anna.
