Ein Tag in Berlin

Das ist Julia. Sie wohnt in Berlin. Heute ist Montag.

This is Julia. She lives in Berlin. Today is Monday.

Julia steht um sieben Uhr auf. Sie frühstückt. Sie isst Brot mit Butter und Marmelade. Sie trinkt Kaffee mit Milch.

Julia gets up at seven o'clock. She has breakfast. She eats bread with butter and jam. She drinks coffee with milk.

Um acht Uhr geht Julia zur Arbeit. Sie fährt mit der U-Bahn. Die Fahrt dauert zwanzig Minuten.

At eight o'clock Julia goes to work. She takes the subway. The journey takes twenty minutes.

Am Mittag isst Julia im Restaurant. Sie isst Suppe und Salat. Das Essen kostet zehn Euro.

At noon Julia eats at the restaurant. She eats soup and salad. The meal costs ten euros.

Nach der Arbeit trifft Julia ihre Freundin Anna. Sie gehen zusammen in ein Café. Sie trinken Tee und essen Kuchen.

After work Julia meets her friend Anna. They go to a café together. They drink tea and eat cake.

"Wie geht's?" fragt Anna.

"How are you?" asks Anna.

"Mir geht es gut, danke!" sagt Julia.

"I'm fine, thank you!" says Julia.

Um sieben Uhr geht Julia nach Hause. Sie ist müde, aber glücklich.

At seven o'clock Julia goes home. She is tired, but happy.
